Dream is a semi-conscious state where we have absolutely no control over our thoughts and expressions (unless we master lucid dreaming). Did you know that most of us spend six years or more of our lifetime dreaming? Research proves that all of us dream at least twice or more in our sleep though we may not remember when we get up. In 5 minutes of waking, half of our dream is forgotten and within 10 minutes, almost all dreams are forgotten. People who are blind from birth too dream. It is just that the dreams of these individuals are formed by other sense such as the touch, smell, sound and taste. During roman era some dreams were even discussed and interpreted in the senate as the dream was considered to be a God sent message for the mankind. Lucid dreams are considered those dreams where person can take full or partial control of their dreams. Most important fact in order to be aware that we are dreaming is practice. Writing down and keeping track of your dreams is very important. Second thing is noticing signs or triggers that can help us stay aware that we are in dreaming state. Once we start dreaming lucidly we could control the imaginary experiences in the dream environment. This is extremely important for people that have nightmares. Interesting facts is that our body is paralyzed during our sleep probably to prevent the body from acting out dreams.

common dreams:

Falling
To dream that you fall and are not frightened, signifies that you will overcome your adversities with ease.
To dream that you fall and are frightened, indicates a lack of control, insecurity, and/or lack of support in your waking life. You may be experiencing some major struggle and/or overwhelming problem. It may denote that you have failed to achieve a goal that you have set forth for yourself.
To dream that you are free-falling through water, indicates that you are feeling overwhelmed with emotions. You may feel that it is easier to give up, then to try to stay afloat or prevent yourself from going under.

Running
To dream that you are running away from someone, indicates an issue that you are trying to avoid. You are not taking or accepting responsibility for your actions. In particular, if you are running from an attacker or any danger, then it suggests that you are not facing and confronting your fears.

To dream that you are trying to run but cannot make your feet move as fast as you want them to, signifies lack of self-esteem and self-confidence. It may also reflect your actual state of REM paralysis while in the dream state.
To dream that you are running alone, signifies that you will advance to a higher position and surpass your friends in the race for wealth. Alternatively, you may be running from some situation or from temptation. Or it may also mean that you need to hurry up in making a decision.
To dream that you are running with others, signifies festive and prosperous times.

Olive Green
The olive green color symbolizes natural wisdom and Zen. You need to achieve peace in your environment.

Purple
Purple is indicative of devotion, healing abilities, loving, kindness, and compassion. It is also the color of royalty, high rank, and dignity

Violet
Violet denotes high spirituality, religious aspiration, purification, affection, gentleness, charm, and peacefulness. There is a sense of intuitive understanding and a feeling of intimacy.

keep a notepad near your bed, and in the morning, without making much movement*, try to get a hold of your dream, without letting go, quickly write it down.

*since a dream is a fruit of your unconsciousness and is connected to a different dimension then the one where you are presently, any movement will brake the connection you have with this realm of the mind.

i have changed my mind!

i have decided that i no longer want to write stories for my blog. it seams much easier to do if no one else is going to read it, or if you dont need to post it on the internet.. so, im going to make my blog a brainstorm blog! ill put alot of things related to the unconsciousness, like dreaming, ill put my ideas, cool ideas, friends ideas, and information i find interesting! lets see how that goes!

so.. first one:




Svalbard Global Seed vault was established to preserve a wide variety of plant seeds in an underground cavern. It is an assurance to reduce of hunger & poverty due to the national disaster. Construction of the Seed Vault, which cost approximately 45 million Norwegian Kroner (9 million USD), was funded entirely by the Government of Norway. The seed bank is constructed 120 meters (390 ft) inside a sandstone mountain at Svalbard on Spitsbergen Island. The Svalbard Global Seed Vault opened officially on February 26, 2008. The first seeds arrived in January 2008. This vault can storage 4.5 million samples of different seeds in the dry temperature of 0° F (-18° C). This storage process can protect the seeds for the thousands of years. Svalbard Global Seed Vault ranked no.6 on Time's Best Inventions Of 2008.

the golden stone( continuation of the first text)

they spotted at a far end, a little glow.
under a tall tree lay a perfectly round shining stone.
what an amazing thing, the children thought. they put in in the care of the fox. and ran as fast as they could to the villagers!
they ran and tripped, and ran some more, till finally they had no more to run, and no breath left to breathe! they arrived at the top of the hill, and when with no effort at all, the young fox arrived in all its elegance, she opened her mouth and dropped the precious stone. no one was to excited, but the kids didnt mind at all, and while everyone was building the wall, so were they.
their little magic stone was put right in the middle of all the others. and every week, the village would go together, and spend a day on the top of the mountain!
after many many long years, the people slowly vanished away.. the village was empty, and the wall, alone.

what was about to happen next, no one could have per-seen.

it goes something like this..

this one must start as all of them do..
long long time ago, there was a small united village in a far far land.
it was no place like you've ever seen before. the villagers from this land had such richness! they had cows, and goats, donkeys, camels, monkeys, tigers, pandas, kangaroos, and all kinds of birds! everyone got along, there was compassion, kindness, music, love and companionship. the children ran freely, and learnt everything they knew from the elder ones, these had the most wisdom of all.
one day, the 2 oldest women, decided that a wall had to be built on the top of the highest hill.
so, everyone got together at dawn, with baskets of food and buckets full of milk, and with a smile they started their walk up the hill. one by one, they gathered the stones.
Before the wall was finished, a little girl went to the forest with a little boy, maybe they were brothers, or perhaps, best-friends, no one really knows. they went looking for stones and of course they had not been aloud to go alone, the young fox was sent to go with them. in between searching, sniffing, and playing, they stumbled upon something imaginable, something magical, and marvellous.....
